"Paris Hilton Makes Gift to the New Hospital Building At Childrens Hospital Los Angeles
Her Generosity Will be Directed to the Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases in the New Hospital Building Now Under Construction
LOS ANGELES, June 26, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Paris Hilton has made an extremely generous personal gift to support the construction of the New Hospital Building at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles "...to benefit the children and families of Greater Los Angeles for decades," according to the hospital.
Her generosity will be directed toward the New Hospital Building Campaign at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for construction of the new space for children being treated at the Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases in the New Hospital Building.
Ms. Hilton has toured the Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases and has involved herself with Childrens Hospital in a number of other ways. Ms. Hilton's generosity will name a double patient room on the floor in the New Hospital Building that will house the Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases and its inpatient facilities.
"I am so happy and fortunate to announce my support for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles," she said. "The children I have met through my involvement with Childrens Hospital have truly touched my heart.
"These fabulous new hospital facilities at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles will provide a caring, healing environment for children and their families for many years to come, and I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fundraising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious illness." "
Needless to say, most of the biased media and public out there are likely to ignore or be unaware of this, while fake stories from biased unreliable sources about Paris "throwing a tantrum" in pet stores are likely to run and run for months across millions of news and gossip sites... like a disease.
Last night I was very tired and couldn't be bothered doing anything. I've been pretty much all used up, depressed and defeated by the machinations of day to day existence at the Scottish Training Foundation. I would have just went to bed early. But Shareen and Paris made me listen to The Stranglers' No More Heroes album and Megadeth's Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? album and drink another beer before that happened.
